Battlesteads features a range of menus planned around seasonal availability of fresh produce to suit every price and palate, from snacks, sandwiches and fresh salads to full a-la-carte including succulent steaks, seasonal game and vegetables, freshwater fish and tasty seafood.
Our starters are priced from £4.50 to £6.95 and main courses from £10.75 to £27.50.
We have a chef's local and seasonal dinner menu of any 2 courses for £23.50. See our menu pages for a description of some of our recent and current dishes.
LOW SALT- All of our dishes are prepared with the minimum salt content possible, in many cases no salt is added during cooking allowing true , natural flavours to show through.
At Battlesteads our policy is to source the freshest local ingredients wherever possible. Our suppliers are chosen from across the region, within a 25 mile radius, and share our commitment to quality. Our menus are planned around seasonal availability of fresh produce, whether game, meats, fish, fruit or vegetables.
During summer we grow many of our own herbs and salad vegetables within our kitchen garden.
