This course is suitable for all levels - beginner to expert.
We'll take you through the essentials even if you don't have any kit, and we'll give you some advice on buying and using the right kit if you're thinking about that. Things to think about bringing are:
- DSLR camera & tripod
- Laptop (to learn about processing your images.)
If you are bringing your own DSLR we'll help you get the best out of it, but it'll help if you can email us your camera details so we can prepare.
Additionally - specific questions can be emailed to our experts in advance, email us at email@example.com
Join our expert photographer at our Dark Sky Discovery Observatory in Wark, Northumberland. With decades of experience in a multitude of formats, locations and subjects we'll guide you on a journey that begins with switching your camera off "auto" setting and ends with you having the ability to take beautiful images of night-time settings.
By the end of the evening you'll be able to capture the constellations, the milky way and moon, compose beautiful night-time landscapes and understand the basics of editing in post-processing.
The format of the evening will be structured to help you improve in easy to manage steps, but we also encourage you to drop us an email when you book, and let us know what camera you have, what your current level of experience is, and what you hope to learn from the evening.
