Our Local Suppliers
We have a range of menus planned around seasonal availability of fresh produce to suit every price and palate, from snacks, sandwiches and fresh salads to full a-la-carte including succulent steaks, seasonal game and vegetables, freshwater fish and tasty seafood.
Our policy is to source the freshest local ingredients wherever possible. Our suppliers are chosen from across the region. They share our commitment to quality. For example we source hot and cold oak smoking of kippers, salmon, duck and chicken from Bywell Fish & Game Smokery – Stocksfield, sausages and steak from the Northumberland Sausage Company – Wark and fresh fish and seafood from Frank Round - North Shields Fish Quay.
We have an extensive cheese board supplied by the Doddington Dairy, Wardhall Dairy – Cumbria and Slack House Farm – Brampton. Our fresh milk and cream comes from Northumbrian Pedigree – Slaley and our free range eggs are from Sunny Hill - Coldstream and Belford.
During summer we grow many of our own herbs and salad vegetables within our kitchen garden.
